Mohinī — The Enchantress

The churning is finished. Dhanvantari rises from the ocean holding the kalaśa of Amrita — and the Asuras seize it. The Devas, exhausted, turn to Vishnu. He does not arrive with a weapon. He arrives as Mohinī — beauty itself, the only female form Vishnu ever takes. The Asuras hand her the pot willingly. Illusion is not the enemy of the Divine — it is the Divine’s own instrument. The nectar was never going to be won by force. It was always a test of sight.
